Carburator chugging?
zoransim is most likely correct. Purge all the air from your cooling system or tell the rodent in your glove box to go back to sleep
It may help to try clearing your cooling system from unwanted air, sound like you at some stage pour some water in your system without bleeding unwanted air
to do this you have to open you radiator cap start you car and and run on for some time 10 minutes should do this will get the air out of cooling system wich creates this presure knocking sound whic probably comes from the car heating pipes or second radiator which is located (most of the times under dasboard ,,,it may just help worth trying,i had simulare problems on my F150

You're reading When i start my truck and shut it off,i hear a knocking noise coming from the passenger side dashboard.Sounds like someone is in there knocking. After i start driving it goes away. But when i shut it off it starts knocking again.all of my gauges read fine.
