It is more a question of how fast does the body break it down. In Australia, there are laws to make sure that the blood alcohol stays under 0.05% alc/vol in your blood stream. The recommended for a man is 2 drinks in the first hour, then one after. It seems using this formula for me that one standard drink is removed in one hour.
