No, we should kill 'em all, and let God sort 'em out.

#1 - not a pro-lifer or pro-choice. #2 - that's a bogus scenario. There are always medical alternatives, which is why most major hospitals have OB's who specialize in high risk pregnancies, and why they have entire wards for pregnant women who are on bed rest being continuously monitored. #3 - babies and adults survive many times when they are given little chance to. It's illogical to say that since the baby may die, we should kill it. #3 - abortion is legal. Just say you don't want the kid and get rid of it instead of making up stories.

Tubal pregnancy is the only scenario where's that's ever categorically true. In that case, there is little choice. I do know someone who still said no. It scared me but the baby died on its own.

If the mother is dying, then the fetus is dying too. The fetus cannot live if the mother is dead. The only chance of the child surviving is to be removed from the uterus. The only chance of the mother surviving is to remove the child. Removing the child in that instance will save one or more lives, not kill someone. It is still possible that one or both of them may die, but the intent is to give the best medical care in order to save lives. You may not be able to save both, but that is the intent. The problem is with intentionally killing a child because it is inconvenient and not wanted, a byproduct of recreational sex. If you don't want to take on the responsibilities of being a parent, the cure is simple: keep that little dangly thingy inside your shorts. If you choose not to, your child does not deserve to die for your sin or your "mistake." You would be horrified, I'm sure, if we suggested executing rapists for having sex, and they actually did the crime. Why should an innocent child deserve to be executed because someone else had sex?
