If the glasses match the shape of their face nicely, I think some people actually look as good or more attractive with glasses. A poor choice of glasses can have the opposite effect of course.

Not at all. As for myself, I think I actually became more sexy. Here's why!
My biggest fear as a teenager was that if boys knew I had to wear glasses, nobody would want to go out with me. As a result, I grew up in a blur. I was withdrawn, shy, did not participate in sports, and generally did not participate in anything that required good vision.
When I was 19, I started going out with this boy, and he figured how blind I was. So he took me kicking and screaming to get a new pair of glasses. I was horribly self-conscious at first, but it did not last long. Quite soon, I was well adjusted, more outgoing, and much more self confident. Not only did my social life improve, but so did my dating life!
The sad part of the story is that my relationship with the boy did not last very long for other reasons. But, whenever I think about him, I will always be grateful to him for forcing me to accept the inevitable and wear my glasses. I just wish someone had done so (parent, teacher, doctor, etc) as soon as I got my first pair.

i think it depends alot on the personality, and whether or not the person has brought glasses that suit them.. i also think that if someone feels/looks confident in their glasses, it shows, and that in itself will make them attractive....

It depends on the glasses themselves and if they're "right" for the person wearing them. But usually what attracts me to a person, physically, is her overall facial features and body. What is more important is the person's personality and compatibility with me. :)
