• That depends. You got any money?
  • No, only about their financial interests and their own egos.
  • Only durring elections.
  • Sure, if you don't pay your taxes they will be calling to ask how they can help empty your wallet.
  • No they just pretend to, to prevent us from over throwing them and making real change.
  • Of course they do. Without people, there are no resources, ergo no government. The government sees people like people see their organ systems; look at how healthy people are, en masse. You honestly expect more from a group made up of those people?
  • Its business and nothing more.
  • Our tapeworms love and cherish us.
  • no. they only care about controlling us. The US Government has been hi-jacked by the corrupt elite.
  • well.. if we died they would launch some sorta investigation on us.... they love us in a business love/care way
  • NO because of some rules and regulations
  • not a sausage im afraid...
  • No not the way we were taught to think they were. They violate their own rules when it suits them and apparently arrest people for money and when there party falls out of favor, it's a sham.
  • In a word. NO. There is only one thing that they are interested in - getting elected and re-elected over and over and over and over and...................
  • Nope they don't. Only when its members want to be re-elected.
  • To the government and the corporations that run it, we the sheeple are three things: (a) cheap labor; (b) consumers of their products; (c) pull the levers on election day. All of that will soon change when we can be replaced by machines and elections are no longer held. So, don't go forging any illusions thinking that we matter cause we don't
  • They are in it for the "perks" and they are getting some nice ones. Why should they give a rat's ass about those who are having to struggle and are losing all they have in the process?
  • Change the channel from Fox News and you will see that they do.
  • only if you owe back taxes.
  • Nope. Not in America, anyway. The elected officials in Washington, DC have demonstrated time and time again that they, in fact, represent the interests of the corporations. As soon as enough people realize this, there will be a change. Until then, it will only get worse. We cannot have a democracy by the people and for the people with a mainstream press that spews infotainment in lieu of investigative reporting, a Washington lobbying structure that is weighted thoroughly on the side of the corporatocracy, and election campaign financing that converts perfectly good candidates into whores of the oligarchy. Add to this an inefficient educational system that no longer teaches critical thinking, guaranteeing somnolent constituencies unequipped to derive fact from falacy. Change those things and we may get our democracy back. For all practical purposes, there is only one political party in the United States and it has no interest in representing the people. This will become increasingly apparent to other Americans as our treasury is drained away and our property is made worthless to all except the predator class that is standing by to suck it up at bargain prices with their bailout money. "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson
  • Every four years, around election time.
  • They did in the Clinton years, before Bush, 8 1/2 years later trying to make it right
  • LOL, they don't give a rats _$$ about nobody but themselves =)
