What do you call the thing that you dry clothes on indoors? I call it a maiden, but I think that's a colloquial term. I've also heard it called a clothes horse.

My mum calls it a clothes horse, though usually it is just 'the back of a chair' Edit: It seems clothes horse is the correct term http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clotheshorse

clothes horse is fine. washing line is ok. maiden? that is one I haven't heard, but different areas of the English speaking world have different terms for things, so I am sure it is only one of many I am not familiar with. :-)
