Im 19 and im a virgin,I want to stay a virgin until marriage. Do guys get freaked out by this or do they respect you more? And how do I tell my bf that i want to wait until marriage? Anymore information you can give me would be much appreciated.

Most guys would not stick around but there are still heaps that would, I would if I knew I wanted to share my life with them, no hesitation whatsoever. You have to tell him now, and if he stays with you until the day, you know he's the right one for you. If not, doesn't mean he's a bad person but you weren't the most important thing in the world to him or sexually he couldn't resist someone else. If that's what you truly want (to wait), good on you and don't let anyone change your mind! Good luck :)

Each of us is entitled to place whatever value we choose on our actions and on our bodies. Just as we're entitled to hold any beliefs we choose. Some choose to believe in creationism. I personally feel such a belief flies in the face of reason and common sense. I also believe that virginity has no value...unless one wishes to place a value on it. But to me, virginity beyond, say 16-18 years of age is unusual and borders on being unreasonable. My opinion and belief which I do not force on others.

honestly, its 2009 and almost no normal person is going to wait until marraige to have sex, i wish you the best of luck in trying to find someone, just dont get frustrated because its not going to be easy

If you had sex before marriage, no big deal. You don't have to tell your BF or Husband to be about your sex life. What happened before meeting him is your business, not he's. Loosen up, just don’t catch anything. A little experience can help you when you tie the knot. You might even test run your FHD to make sure he has the appropriate skills and tool to satisfy you.

over here (in spain) it's not normal to come across someone who wants to wait until marriage to lose their virginity, so yes, guys do freaks out. i suppose, if i were to wait, i would have told my bf at the very beginning of our relationship.

My husband and I met when we were young. We knew we were going to be together forever, so we decided to wait until marriage. We did do some fooling around to keep each other satisfied and always looking forward for more....but we were so happy that we waited to actually have sex until we were married. It made it that much more special. I know our relationship is somewhat rare, but we are proof that it can happen.
