why wouldnt you accept the offer? just because you work closely with people with aids doesnt mean that your going to have sex with them, or pass any blood or body fluids between one another, plus who wouldnt want 50.00 a hour!! i know i do. and think of all the people you come in contact with everyday that you dont know are infected with aids. youve probably shaken some hands once apon a time. and never even knew it .

Are you afraid that you are going to get HIV by working with people who have it? If so you really need to educate yourself before taking the job because if you take it and you are fearful then the patients will pick up on it and it is not fair to them. I am a healthcare professional and have worked very closely with patients with HIV and have enjoyed it immensley, I also treat them no differently to any other of my patients I follow infection control procedures with all patients not just the ones with HIV. If you are going to take the job just because it is good money then that it is clearly wrong because you should be taking it because you are dedicated and have an interest in what you are going to do, if you have not please do not take the job because all patients deserve the best of care.

No. It is not my line of work/interest. Plus $50/hour is not a very good wage for 40hrs.
