  • Yes, yes and yes yo...
  • Hard drives are generally 3.5 inches wide, and I've never come across one that didn't fit inside a tower. The design is pretty standardized so you're probably safe. If you're really paranoid, look up the specs for each individual drive and see if they match up. An upgrade in size shouldn't be an issue unless you start getting into really ridiculously large sizes that aren't even available or, for that matter, ever even made.
  • Hard drives come in 2 standard sizes, 3.5 and 5.
  • yes it will fit.just make sure if your old drive is ide or sata, and get the same.If it is a newer computer it is more than likely a sata (serial ata)drive,a little older it could be ide.
  • Sure! You can buy a standard 3.5" hard drive with capacity up to 1.5TB (1500GB) I recently bought Seagate Barracuda HDD ST31500341AS, 7200RPM, for $130. I beleive that this is the most reliable 1.5TB drive. You need to check, however, that your computer supports SATA 3GB/s (sometimes refered as SATA2) connection. Otherwise, you will need to go on PATA or SATA 1.5Gb/s (usually refered simply as SATA) hard drive.
