  • Discrimination is usually when you dislike someone just because of their race or ethnicity. A stereotype is usually when you pair a action or adjective with a group of people. Sorry this might be confusing.
  • Discrimination is the unfair treatment of a person or people because of a group/s they belong to. A stereotype is generalisation you have about a group e.g. all grannies knit OR all Irish people drink. Stereotypes are often false.
