The Bible prophetically refers to Jesus as our “Eternal Father.” (Isaiah 9:6, 7) “As “the last Adam,” Jesus effectively replaces “the first man Adam” as the father of those of mankind who exercise faith. (1 Corinthians 15:45) Unlike Adam, who turned out to be a selfish, self-serving father, Jesus is the ideal father. The Bible says of him: “By this we have come to know love, because that one surrendered his soul for us.” (1 John 3:16) Yes, Jesus willingly offered up his own life for others. However, he also on a day-to-day basis put the needs of others ahead of his own in smaller ways. You parents do well to imitate that self-sacrificing spirit. By our accepting the provision of his ransom sacrifice, the burden of sin and death inherited from Adam can be removed from us, and Jesus can become our “Eternal Father.” All who would gain everlasting life must take in knowledge not only of God but also of his Son, Jesus Christ”. He is always alive and well.

I disagree with perryman. Jesus is called Eternal Father means that He is and always has been our father. Equal to God the Father.
-
He isn't called "Eternal Father" but is called Father of the age to come (olam abba). This has nothing to do with his existence but him being the one who brings the "age to come"
