  • I just get annoyed when people talk like this. Wut wud u do 2 me if i wuz waring uh mini skurt
  • I prefer to speak and write properly. It speaks volumes of your intelligence level.
  • It depends on where it is I am typing. Here on AB for example, I try to use proper punctuation, because it's easier to read and is more polite. But if I'm talking on msn with a friend, as long as you can understand it, it's good enough.
  • Personally I still like to use the correct punctuation, I didn't do for a long time whilst I was on maternity leave with my second child and when I came to go back to work, I found it quite hard to get used to writing and typing properly, so that was a lesson learnt for me!
  • i like order so i tend to keep to the grammatical ways of spelling an punctuation. i just dont pay attention to capitalization.
  • No I do try. If I go slow it is ok, but once I go at a comfortable speed the letters can not keep up.
  • I may have no pride left, but I still have my dignity. I will always watch my writing.
  • I always try as hard as I can. My punctuation is really really poor though, and I have troubles with dyslexia, so more often than not when I don't use write properly it's because I don't know how or don't notice my mistakes! I like it when people write following the proper rules of grammar & style though, so I try my best to reciprocate for others too. =)
  • Improper spelling, if intentional and shortened, really annoys me. Same with punctuation and capitalization. I like things to be easy to read and understandable. Like a few people have said prior to this, it reflects your intelligence.
  • i don car, i jes let er flieeeeeee.
  • i dont when i get in a hurry
  • In this forum I don't watch it as though I were submitting it to my English Prof., but I do try to make what I write understandable; if I don't, I'm not communicating, and that's what this site is all about.
  • Dood, wut iz u tolkin abowt? I normally try to be as correct as possible with my grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • I don't care enough to make an effort. If I know I made a mistake, I will correct it out of habit. I don't go over what I write to correct grammar, just to make sure what I wrote is what I mean. Unless it is a formal letter somewhere. Then I will check spelling and grammar.
  • I try to, but I don't fret over it when isn't a formal letter.
  • I have been typing for so long that I find it difficult not to use proper case and punctuation.
  • I don't worry about it, I'm not perfect but if I see an obvious mistake I take care of it +3

  • No, I prefer to clearly communicate as an intelligent adult.
  • I have been functionally literate since the age of four, thanks to my father. I (like so many other Americans) took thirteen years of public schooling, during which I was instructed in proper spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation. American tax dollars paid for that schooling. To throw it all away in utter laziness would be disrespectful to my father, my teachers, the tax-paying Americans, myself, and the person reading my post.
  • as long as you get your point across who cares anymore, thanks+5.
  • Here's my question: "When pepul hir get hi on ther almity horse annd they cant spel rite on use god grammer dos it anoy u or amoose?" http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvmlX0_dYa38lECm4WhQqyzpFQx.;_ylv=3?qid=20090319143919AAbliA5 :-D
  • Well.....since I sometimes get paid to write, I pretty much need to be as aware as I can as to the correct punctuation, and general writing rules. Plus, especially on forums, such as this, all I can be judged by IS my writing, my words. I'd prefer that I appear to be reasonably intelligent over lazy or stupid. Why would you, or anyone else, take me seriously if I appear to be a dunce?
