i play in a band, and there is this older dude who comes to a few of our gigs, i play bass and so does he, and he always comes up to me after telling me about this bass he has bought, which cost 8 grand, and how he has all this expensive gear, with a big smug grin on his face, always tryna make me deals to buy his stuff. im fucking broke, i dont have shit, and all he can talk about is how loaded he is and all the great stuff he has. he has this warwick bass, and he is dying to sell me it, and i told him i have my eye on a musicman stingray, he had the audacity to come out with the statement of ' anything later than 68 is a piece of shit'' i told him that was a bold statement, and he retorted with '' ive been alive a long time '' smug twat.
