That seems the most logical...only problem is in finding the happiness. I know Ive said before here on AB that happiness is within us and Inreally feel this way but how in the hell do we find it.

A positive attitude and sense of optimism can go along way! Optimists get sick less and when they do get ill, they recover faster. http://www.uihealthcare.com/topics/stressandcope/stre5136.html Individuals with higher levels of well-being have lower cardiovascular risk, lower levels of stress hormones and lower levels of inflammation, which serves as a marker of the immune system. http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2004-10-12-mind-body_x.htm A positive attitude can delya ageing. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3642356.stm Positive attitude can combat the common cold! http://www.webmd.com/content/article/71/81297.htm Given all the above, I would say, YES! It would depend on what kind of sick you are. Our state of mind has a lot to do with our physical well being, but there are times that only medicine will get rid of sickness. Of course if you have a positive attitude the medicine will work better and faster. Does for me anyway.

Absolutely, the only problem is, that people spend so much time worrying that they never have any time to try to make them selves well with happiness.

Yes....I rarely get sick, maybe once a year, even if everyone around me is sick...I work with "the Public" a great deal of the time...and there are lots of colds and flu out there!

Yes. I heard that being happy can help your immune system and decrease high blood pressure.

Yes! Positive thinking can have enormous benifits for the body!
-
Yes ... Happy is positive ... positive thoughts can help many sick moments pass ... many can help their own battle with cancer by having a positive frame of mind My Dad did just that! ... they told him 3 months to live with throat cancer ... he said No way! 16 years later ... my Dad is still here ...
-
Absolutely! It is amazing the kind of power our emotions have over our physical body.
-
I think happy people are sick less than depressed people are. Research shows that good humor and a positive outlook are beneficial to your health. So, I would say that my answer is, yes.
