No I think more teaching how to use the internet and more explaining the good as well as the bad things we are subject to not only on line but off is needed. Censorship happens when people are not educated enough to explain how things really are. You simply can not teach by hiding the truth behind a little black box.

The internet is the world's first source of totally free information. That is why governments don't like it, and why we get calls to censor it. Information can be good or bad, and it can be used for good or ill. But information itself is neutral. It is down to us how we use it. In other words, I advocate self-censorship.

No, the attraction of internet is it's uncensored information resources. It should be up to the parents to determine what a kid can access.

Yes. I know censorship stinks of government control and lack of freedom of speech, but people forget what sort of stuff there is on here, and what sort of people. Everyone can lie on the Internet and no matter how much we try to deny it, there are rapists and paedophiles out there who take advantage of that fact. People can die because of the sites they surf on, and we don't even realise half of the things our children are being exposed to. Political and sexual freedom are important, but they can only go so far.

I don't think so. Adults should have the freedom to read or see anything, unless the site is malicious.
