Honestly, i wouldn't try it since she is more likely to eat the poor thing. Try this website for an alternative: http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&A=495 But, if you want to try. Rub one of the kittens on the bunny, get the kitten smell on the bunny. Then while she is nursing her kittens, distract her. When her attention is away, sneak the bunny in with the kittens. See if the bunny will nurse on a free nipple. The keep an eye to see if mom notices the new edition or not.

First of all, why did you let your cat get pregnant? There are already too many cats and you're just making the problem worse. I'm sure you knew you'd get crap for that. Regarding the baby rabbit: Cats are true carnivores, rabbits are true herbivores. Milk for a cat is not going to work for a rabbit. They are very different. You need to feed rabbit formula to the rabbit. Kittens also do something called the milk tread to stimulate milk production, something rabbits don't do. Good luck, you're going to need it.

I think that your kittens are too old for the mother cat to accept something as small as a baby wild rabbit. If the baby rabbit is the same size as the five week old kittens, then it shouldn't need much more nursing and you should be able to hand feed it easily for 1-2 more weeks if at all. if you want to handfeed the rabbit yourself you will need KMR (kitten milk replacer) and a syringe which you can easily get at a pet store. You will need to feed the kit maybe twice a day and keep it warm. Here's a good website all about handrearing kits. http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/orphan.html

the mom cat will kill the rabbit. don't do it if you want the bunny to live! she will chew off its head to make sure it doesn't hurt her kittens. then again, she may just eat it. either way, don't do it.
