17w ultrasound showed that we're having a boy, does this look like a boy to you? Friend thinks the tech is wrong and that it looks too big to be a penis.

I'm not an ultrasound tech but that doesn't look like a penis to me.

I would ask the ob. S/he is the one who is supposed to read the ultrasound not the tech.

How far along are you?? Unless you are 40 weeks that is not a penis. The penis doesnt start to form until 22 weeks and the scrodem doesnt drop until 18 weeks. Usually during an ultra sound they dont notice the penis the notice the testicals.

They do not even look like babies to me, just black and white blobs. When I had mine done they turned it round for me to see and I swear it was just black and white blobs.

It's a boy. He's clearly giving the tech the finger. LET ME SLEEP! (our techs were 3 for 3)
