  • There's only one word for that: Evil
  • It is where it has always been, Nancy,.. full of both beauty and evil. Why? I don't know. Terrible things have always been done,...many by people you would least expect it from. Why are they "allowed" by a supposedly loving God? (provided you believe there is a God). I can't answer that in a few words, either. I can only say that I believe there is a reason...and there will be a "judgment". "And I tell you this,..if any should cause harm to one of these little ones, it were far better for that man (person) that an anchor were tied around his neck and he were cast into the sea." ___Jesus of Nazereth.
  • That whole story is bizzare, I think the strangest fact is that the killer is a female and mother herself. Women rarely kill children and when they do it's usually their own child and even that is extremely rare. For a female to kill an unrelated child is even more rare and really weird. I almost think there is more to this. It just strikes me as too weird for the killer to be female. Regardless of who did it I have a zero tolerance policy for anyone who harms a kid. They should be executed slowly and painfully whether they are male or female. Hurting a kid is inexcusable.
  • She was arrested for it, but she hasn't been found guilty of it. It's a terrible crime in any case though.
  • Being a Sunday School teacher doesn't make you a good person any more than sitting in a garage makes you a car. Things like that have happened throughout history - murderers, rapists, and pedophiles are not new inventions. The only difference is that now stories are plastered over the news, newspapers, and internet rather than staying localized. But whether it happened today or a hundred years ago, it is horrible. Evil is alive and well.
  • I know being a Sunday school teacher doesn't make you a good person but it's all the more shocking to me since every person I've ever met who takes part in organized religion seems to taut the fact that they believe they are better than those that do not. But I guess you're right; going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, anymore than standing in your garage makes you a car.
