  • True Christians dont believe in homosexuality
  • Took me awhile to understand your question, but what you ask is: "Why is homosexuallity a target of Christian groups?" A-all groups have to exclude someone B-all groups have to have a common target C-all people have to feel like they fit into a group D-if you don't fit in, you become the target! really, its more about the person attacking than it is you.
  • I would guess Homosexual's have been around since the beginning of time. It has always been a taboo in general. It is now more on the front line looking for equality as Heterosexuals receive. Will total acceptance ever be accepted? If equal rights were given, will they still receive acceptance as the Heterosexuals receive? Only through Education and time will tell.
  • Ignorance
  • It has much more to do with what sort of people become Fundamentalist Christians than how homosexuals behave. The fundamentalist movement is a massive magnet for Right Wing Authoritarian Followers. http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~altemey/ RWAFs tend to exhibit the following personality traits: They exhibit a very high degree of conventionalism. They are a highly insular community, preferring to stick with and listen only to their own kind. They are on hair trigger, with pent up aggression ready to be released at a moment's notice at opponents to their beliefs. They have highly compartmentalized minds, allowing them to easily cling to conflicting views without any realization that some of their beliefs are incompatible with others. They fear the world around them and are convinced that only by eliminating "otherness" can their threatened world be made safe. And they will readily join a "posse" mentality to "get a rope" and string up those elements they fear threaten their secure world view. Read up on the subject. It is truly fascinating and explains so much about what has been going on in the American Discourse recently.
