No, it is just a generalazation. -
No of course not. There are some who do, but then there are plenty of Brits who hate other Brits, such as some Scots who hate the English and vice versa, English who hate the Welsh etc. but it doesn't mean that everyone feels this way. There will always be a minority of any country who hate certain other nationalities, but it is just that unfortunately they tend to be the ones who shout loudest.

I'm an American and I have some really darling and lovely AB friends in the UK...I have never felt they don't like us..in fact I think sometimes they like us a lot because we're so naive about so much..kind of like older brothers and sisters think about their younger siblings. Happy Friday! :)

Speaking as a Brit the only thing I could dislike about America would be RAP music! other than that you're all really great for me :-/ I love you're TV shows, we have coronation street! see where I'm coming from!! :-/ how bad is that! you as a people have a very friendly open & warm nature from what I personally have encountered, so here is one Brit who gladly can dispel this myth, hopefully! you guys are so polite too, something which is rapidly decreasing in the UK lately :-/ "HAVE A NICE DAY"

No not everything - we like Disneyland..... Seriously, it is a gross generalisation to say that; I am sure there are some Brits who would say they hate Americans and vice versa - they are quite possibly the people who haven't travelled! Even if they have they will not have met enough Americans to make such a vast judgement.

Not at all. That is a wild generalisation. Of course, there are always a few (just like I bet there are a good few Americans who hate everything about the Brits). There are a few aspects of American culture, American laws and foreign policy which I very much dislike - but that doesn't mean I dislike Americans. Far from it.

They are just pissed still cause we kicked there ass in 1776 and 1812 and they can't get over it. Lol just kidding. They think of America as what they see on the news. Think of the news that wee see and if that was all you saw then you would hate America.
