  • No dont put them back youv destrubed them now its too late, once you touch them mummy will reject them,id get some advice from the vet now i cant advise you how to feed them. Rabbits are very funny creatures and when they give birth they should be left alone, even something as simple as a funny smell like a fox or dog will make them kill their young. Good luck hope all goes well
  • She must have been living with the buck to have gotten pregnant again. This is one of the terrible things that happens when you keep them together. Usually you will lose all the kits. 31 days old is way too young to be away from their mother. How are you feeding them? Are you hand feeding them, giving them KMR(Kitten Milk Replacer)? They need it since they must nurse for a few more weeks. I don't think it will work to put them back in, but you might try -lacing them back in her nest box, covering them with her fur she pulled and see if she accepts them. Check them in the morning and see if their tummies are nice and full or if they are cold and wrinkly. If they are warm and have full bellies, that means she went back to feeding them. If not, then it will be up to you to hand feed them with KMR and a syringe. And you shouldn't be moving the doe, only the kits. She needs to feel like she's at home, not in a new place. Moving her when she has kits is stressful and could cause her to reject all her kits. If you want to try handfeeding, check out this page for directions on how to go about doing it. http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/orphan.html And please keep her away from the buck. She needs months of rest to recuperate. Better yet, get her spayed so she won't get pregnant again.
  • at 31 days old they should be eating well on ther own there is no need to put them back on the mom.
