Yes. Yes they do. Have you ever seen your lint trap after just one load? No WAY that much lint is created. The machine is programmed to grab a sock and reduce it to lint. So says my single-sock sock drawer.

Yes in the washer they go over the top and down behind the drum and in the dryer they go down the exhaust which could cause a fire.

Yes, I think so. Last night, in fact, we each did a load of laundry, and we each lost 1 sock!

Sometimes I find socks hiding on the inside of shirts or pants. I guess it's the static cling. It's funny when you go to put on a shirt that you haven't worn in a while and you find a sock in it.

Yes they do, but their brother the clothes line is responsible for the mysterious disappearances too!
