  • Are you talking about a poll ? I'm a member there and I'm not sure what your meaning - Plus I just love being here on AB - I hardly go to Yahoo!Answers since I found this site -
  • ok, iam an EX-Yahoo user..but i dont think it would be in everyone's interests to implement Yahoo's features to help improve AB's image. AB is a unique site...just like Yahoo. im sure the staff can come up with their own ways to improve AB's image as a whole
  • G'day Shultz, Thank you for your question. I too am a former Yahoo! Answers user. You can put this information up by answering your own question. You can also add a comment to someones answer. That would allow you to do pretty much the same thing. Answerbag may want to look at adapting the feature though but much of the functionality is there. Regards
  • No. The current system is fine.
  • i always thought that AB already had a character limit when writing questions. but i can understand where you're coming from.
  • Yeah, that's probably the only good feature yahoo answers has included. I also thought about this, the question apart, and some type of comment based on the question. Also the character limit is very high, but still, answerbag is the best, and can't be compared to yahoo answers. I'm sure the staff will come up with new intriguing ideas to help us out.
  • For answers to your question, see the identical questions listed along the right hand side of this page.
  • A lot of people have been asking for this for a long time, but so far with no satisfaction.
  • I, at times, feel myself under the obligation of eating my long questions for 100 character field isn't available! I share your wishing to enhance it-the field I mean- for not to be aa addict of excess character biting.
  • I do not think that is a good idea. We already see questions that ramble on and on *cough* Am I Pregnant? *cough*, and we don't need them longer. I don't agree with us being so competitive, as this will always be a wonderful site, no matter how it compares with other sites.
  • You have a virtually unlimited (I've never reached it, anyway) question summary field. It's called the FIRST ANSWSER. Ask your question, point to your answer, and put the "summary, question comment, question description, etc." in the first answer. Suggestion: Have it all typed out in Notepad, or the like, so all you have to do is cut-and-paste it. PLEASE NOTE: AB is NOT YA! !
  • Most of us just put the rest in an answer because you can post very very long stuff there, it is hard for people just skimming stuff though or making it a duplicate with stuff like: I need help on this (see answer for explanation). But yes, I vote for elaboration box :) Great idea
