  • My husband and I have been married for 4 years and we have a fun tradition. First of all, we get REALLY dressed up, even if we are going to the movies. We have 3 kids and never get a chance to do this. It is pretty simple to explain when we go out and we get lots of smiles. Secondly, we tell each other the truth about 1 lie we told the last year (yes, even untold truths). For example, I flirted with an old classmate online and I told my hubby about it on our anniversary. He is a trucker and he told me he got a flat and then hit the guardrail. Turns out he hit the guardrail and got a flat. We are not allowed to bring this up again as ammo toward the other person. It works for us and it is fun to come up with stuff. We figure this will help us to see that all those things we keep from one another are really not that big of a deal.
  • Yes. I traditionally forget, and she traditionally gets mad. I traditionally buy her something expensive to make up for it, and she traditionally tells me that I'm not completely off the hook, but accepts the gift anyway. Then she traditionally reminds me of it every chance she gets...lol
