Oh it's rude, but who cares?

I think if one never sees proper grammar (and spelling), one never learns to communicate as effectively as they could. Of course, everyone gets a bye for occasional typos and mechanical errors. But we should all strive for clear, correct messages. Proper grammar and spelling is vital to clarity. I don't feel it is rude to help someone to learn.

It depends on the error & the nature of the question.

Not everyone has the same education but everyone has thoughts let them express their thoughts without fear of some one analyzing their grammar.

I will let a fair amount pass uncommented. But when people act pompous and erudite I will be sure to call them out on bone-headed grammar. A sure trigger to my rebuff is the increasingly popular, "Your [sic] stupid!"

Are you talking about Kelsey Grammer? Otherwise that's spelled grammAr! ;D

You mean, to correct the grammar of people "who" ask, etc. Right? It's not the nicest thing in the world, but it can be done more or less nicely, just like anything else.

It depends how you give it?
