  • Anytime you're running Windows on a Mac, be it Boot Camp, Parallels or any other method... you are opening yourself to all the viruses that a Widows OS falls prey to. You must download and install an anti-virus program to protect your machine. Hope this helps.

  • I agree with everyone else so far, if you run a Windows OS you are vulnerable to viruses. In any case, it is always a good idea to have a good virus protection app. Macs get them rarely but it is better to be safe than sorry.
  • Yes you do. Its Mac OS X that isn't plagued with Virus Infections, Spyware, Trojans and Adware. With Windows running on Mac hardware, you're still running Windows = infection time.
