Britney Spears was raised in a small town, she had no money when she was young, her father was an alcoholic, she earnt her status, she is actually a very down to earth and sweet person, she went through an extremely sad mental breakdown that the WHOLE WORLD got to see and was used by people and admits she is lonely and sad. Paris Hilton on the other hand was born into a filthy rich family, she hasn't been through any great trials, she is a rotten person (if you don't believe me, read her terrible book "Confessions of an Heiress"...she gives advice on how to be like her), she uses people, she thinks she is the hottest thing alive and even believes the city of Paris was named after her. She is arrogant beyond belief. Paris also used Britney to gain more attention and just 'disappeared' when Britney started to go through bad stuff. Thankfully Britney got rid of Paris from her life. So yes, they are two totally different people.
