Good conversations, and common interests aren't ALWAYS all you need for a relationship to work. Whether it is true or not, it has been said that women mature faster than men, therefore it is possible you two could be on the same mental level... The question at hand should be, "How much time will I spend in jail if we are caught?" Just continue spending time together, and once she's of legal age, see where it goes. If you, (or she) isn't willing to wait that long, then the answer is "No."

4 years is not a big gap, it actually is the standard gap in most every relationship, try 12 years or 20 now theres a age gap relationship, and yes It can work with any age, just ask geraldo rivera... 35 years age gap.

I am three years younger then my boyfriend i am 20 and he is 23 soon to be 24. I don't see a problem with it working unless you are really immature. I think it is better to have the gap because if you are on the same level and going throught the same stuff that comes with age at the same time things might get boring. Good LUCK!

Age really isn't a factor, it is just a number... but I think for a relationship to really work long term, you have to want the same things. If you are just looking for a casual relationship (which is understandable since you are only 17) and she is starting to look for the guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with... that could give you some problems down the road. But I don't think 4 years is a big difference at all... as long as you both want the same things from the relationship, then things should work out.

Yup! Who cares about age! You love her! =^^= My bf is 21 too and I'm 18! My parents didn't agree to it when I started going out with him when I was 16 but I loved him so I didn't care! Thankfully, we are still together. And since you said you two had things going on for ya'll then of course it will work! XD
