Well I would generalize it and qualify it at the same time, perhaps: "Those who subscribe to belief systems tend to oversimplify and generalize regarding not only their opposition, but their own perspective". Oversimplification and excessive generalization (including "labeling") are the price of trying to fit an infinitely complex reality into a conceptual model of finite complexity. That in itself isn't necessarily a problem, what causes trouble is not being aware and responsible for the loss of truth incurred in the process.

People use these labels to make a name for themselves. Who says sexism or racism can't work the other way around? Why is sexism confined to Women only and racism confined to Blacks and Asians? I've seen many black people being nasty to white people and many women managers promoting women over men based on gender bias.

Well, take the big picture here. Democrats versus republicans. Honestly, all we can do is ridicule eachother and call each other names that turn into rhetoric. That's all the power we got. So politicians use these things to control the people. THe mindless catchy rhetoric is easy to catch on to. And it collects the fringe people from both parties. It's more of a way to Demonize the other people, thus giving the people your votes, thus controlling everyone is really the deal. I dont know if this made sense but YEAAAA Sorry, I'm exhausted..
