Because you get to know people who you can have a laugh with or who can help when you don't know what the answer to something is. It is for me a place where I have made friends from all across the world which is a great way to understand what is happening out there! ;0)

Because it is a great place to make friends and visit. I would have never thought that back on December 22, 2008 that I would have made sooooo many AWESOME friends. We become a "family" in a sense. I miss all of my friends when they aren't on. I hope all is going ok in their lives. It is just a great site and fun too. +5 Don't take the site so serious that it ruins the FUN of it! Love doing it! Hi, Kaitlyn. It's fun because You can get help. You can help others (that always feels good). You can learn a lot. You also have to learn to judge the value of the answers that are given. You meet all different sorts of people (people are endlessly fascinating), and most of them are SO nice. You can get invited to lunch so you can feed the ducks and the river rats. P.S.
