No link.. I will taks a guess you are referring to a "Tweel" http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tweel-airless-tire.htm They look cool and have some advantages but.. They need to be tuned for each vehicle.(smaller production runs = bigger cost) Their look is by function, no more custom rims. They are way more expensive to make The still wear out and need replaced. For a car manufacture you are replacing a 150 dollar item with a 5000 dollar item that does the same thing. Yes, it cant get a flat, but when was your last flat? These items make it very unlikely that they will make it onto cars.

Yeah, I saw those a while back. That was one of my bright ideas years ago. I didn't have the cash to do anything with it, so I have waited all these years to have someone make them and prove it's a workable idea. :)
