Depending on your prior experience and qualifications...you might consider listing with a temp service, IE Kelly Girls...lots of times a temp assignment may turn into a permanent job offer! Kelly Girls is just an example, please check out the temporary employment agencies in your area. They will help you figure out where you are best suited to find a job of any sort, in your area.

What have you done to be retrained? Have you taken any courses or gone to school to learn what is needed in order for you to get a job? Old ways don't work. In my day if you got a job and did it well you could stay there for life. That is no longer true. Looking for work isn't enough..you have to make yourself into a valuable potential asset to the company and you can only do that by learning to do the jobs that are available today...very different world than it used to be. Good luck and Happy Sunday! :)

See yourself walking in with a reassured smile knowing you are walking in to your next job not your next rejection! Done it myself!

Can you create your own job? I used to ask myself this question all the time when I was unemployed. Maybe I could do someone's gardening (except that I hated gardening ... ) or wash their windows for a couple of dollars? Tutoring? Walking / washing someone's pet dog? Low self-confidence and a lack of transport stopped me from trying many things. Is there anything you can make and sell at a "Sunday market"? - eg put a funny picture / slogan on a T-shirt and sell that? Exercise is the best way to lift your spirits. Martial arts help you build self - confidence. Joining any type of club or charity is a good idea because it gives you lots of "non-threatening" exposure to alot of people, and one of them people might just prefer to give you a job, rather than interview a thousand other people. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Best wishes, good luck, I hope you find a good solution soon. Oh, yeah, I nearly forgot: What are your qualifications, experience, and what would you rather be doing with your life? Don't bother applying for jobs you don't want. You've already proven that those bosses don't want you either. Try and concentrate on getting a job that you DO want, or getting a job in a company that does what interests you. Your enthusiasm may be what gets you in the door.
