This will come at different times for everyone. My older sister(32) didnt get her's until her senior year of high school. I(22) was not so luck, it was first visited in 5th grade!! My younger sister(20) got her first period in the seventh grade. Dont rush, but whenever you get it... have lots on meds on hand! LOL

I got mine when I was about 11 years old, at home and clueless as to what was going on. My mother got hers when she was around 11, and my daughter got hers when she was about 12. So it looks like your mom got hers when she was about 11 or 12.

It depend how far into puberty you are, usually about two years after the appearance of pubic hair. You will also start to get a whiteish discharge for a few months before your first period.

I was 11. One never knows, but your body will give you signs. Unfortunately, if you are not comfortable or 'in tune' with your body you may not recognize the signs. If you are one of the lucky ones, your body will soon settle on a schedule and the signs will be obvious, but do not expect that for the first time. good luck and enjoy it while you can!

Hard to really say, its different for every girl. I got mine at 10 years old in the 5th grade. It would have been nice if it waited a few more yrs.

i was 13 and my sister was 12, my mom was 13. I am very skinny but my much larger friend didnt get hers till she was 16!! just put that in there so you know size doesnt matter... because she had boobs way bigger than mine but no period.

its not really something to look forward to but i got mine a moth before i started 6th grade when i was 10
