Should someone be denied treatment at hospital if they have contributed to their medical problem eg. Obesity, alcohol abuse, drug use?

I don't think it's right to deny someone medical treatment, but it does annoy me when people smoke a million cigarettes and then want taxpayers to pay for their lung cancer treatment, or when people spend their lives shoving cheeseburgers into their mouths and then expect taxpayers to pay for their heart-bypass surgery. I don't think that people should be denied medical treatment, but if they have caused their illnesses by doing stupid things, they should have to pay for their treatment instead of wasting taxpayer dollars.

I would doubt if any medical condition or disease ever starts without some contribution from the person who has the condition. We should I feel, act like adults and accept that we need to help anyone with a medical condition. Society can be measured by the way we treat the weakest links within our society or culture. Medical help nd assistance should be given freely all over the world that way we would become one huge human family and many problems would simply go away! No Hunger, no war, no racism!!
