How can you compress an AVI file, with it not losing resolution, size or file format (AVI)??? Like from 800 MB to 600 MB.

Quick fix - recompress and lower the sound quality instead of the video. You could try different encoders - for example Xvid instead of DivX. Some may be more efficient. Though you may find it hard to get the extra compression you want without compmising some video quality though.
