Not the cops. Once I had to get a man who fell into a 30' deep dry well and called the Firemen for recue at 11 at night. I am happy to say they covered the 15 miles in 10 minutes and arrived to save the man. Hearing the Fire Engine bells and sirens the Police inspector too followed them and arrived at the spot even without my calling the Police. They are efficient.

nope, not for tht reason. but when i was like 5 years old, my older sis was bbysitting me, & she pissed me off bc she wouldnt help me get a spoon or something retarded like tht..... so i grab the phone & threaten her. "if you dont gimme tht i will call the poweeece on you!!" lol =) my sister didnt get it for me...she doubted my words...and in about 3 minutes, she was explaining to the police why they had received a phone call from our house.....=) i dont mess - never have, never will.....=) i was one bad ass 5 year old! ....true story....=)

I wouldn't advise doing that ... It is ILLEGAL to call authorities for NO Real emergency or situation .... and you can find YOURSELF being locked up for doing something so unwise ...

No, not on purpose. When my son was a year old he called 911 on accident. The cops traced it to my house and called me back. It was funny they asked if everything was alright and I said yes, my son got hold of the phone while I was getting dressed and called on accident. Then they asked if they could speak with him. I said alright, but he's only 15 months old. They just laughed and hung up.
