  • i hope so, otherwise i have a serius problem with the pipes.
  • Not the current one. I did live in an old home with a couple spirits. One was a gramma who accidentally killed her grandson by giving him the wrong meds. She was NUTS. The grandson was there too, but he was kind quiet. We contacted the gramma with a OuiJa board. She would be spelling something and suddenly just start "screaming" "YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA". havent touched a board since.
  • Yes, my house is haunted by my memories of the pain and frustration I have gone through there.
  • no. my house is deffinetly not haunted. i wish it was though, at least then there would actually be some excitement in my dull meaningless day.
  • not the one i am in now but the one before this one was. ever since moving in i always said it was haunted. my bedroom was the only cold room in the house even when every where else was warm. one time me and my friend were chatting and my make up just fell on the floor and once when i was asleep someone tapped me on the shoulder. i just had a really strange feeling it was haunted but not in a scary way. anyway years later i found out my dad was decorating before we moved in and he could smell cigars really strongly and there was noone there except him. also the cd player used to turn on on its own but that could have been because it was next to the tv
  • no. Do I need to elaborate more?
  • No. I have never seen or felt anything paranormal either.
  • Rebert Hall - Freshman year dorm. Envisioned a bloody naked blond in the shower stall. Thought I was hallucinating from exhaustion. A year later, heard a story about a girl committing suicide in the THAT very same bathroom. A few years later, in talking about Freshman year experiences, another kid confessed, twice, he'd hear a girl crying in the girl's room, but would find no one... Coincidence? I think not!!
  • We believe ours is. Occasional door slamming, tv changes channels by itself, and the computer turned itself on at night once (since then I make sure that can't happen.) Our German Shepherd will occasionally refuse to go into one room or the other while growling deep in his throat. However, I don't believe any energy can actually harm you. "I'm not scared a no ghosts!", but I am scared of bad people.
  • No but it does seem to have a black hole. I'm contantly losing things, that I know haven't left the house, never to be seen again. The match to my other sock, my kid's homework, the dog, and all the food I just bought.
  • The last house I lived in was. We bought it from an elderly man whos wife had gotten ill and died. I did not think to ask if she died in the house. My bedroom was alway about 5 degrees colder than the rest of the house no matter what i did to try and keep it warm. At night you could here the cupboard door slamming closed at first I thought it was just me but my sister came to visit once and the next morrning she asked me what I was looking for that late at night I told her it was not me that I hear it all the time. My daughter who was about three would not sleep with her light off and has never been scared of the dark. I hung a picture on the wall once and she must have not liked it there because when it fell it brokein to a million pieces. She never showed herself or did harm to us so it was not that bad.
  • Yes it is. Currently I have an average of 5 in my house at one time...3 male, and 2 female. I only know 2 of them personally...There is Hannah. A little girl who died at about the age of 5-6. She died a violent death...Now she delights in teasing me, she is never crule though. The other is a young man named Valkin...He likes to stay in my closet most of the time...He died in a car crash last year...
  • the house that i grew up in was haunted really badly, by a old lady named Miss Jensen. when we first bought the house everything in it was green, carpet, walls furniture, bathrooms...everything. the ppl we bought it form told us the ghost liked the color green, my mother told me she used to hear me in the middle of the night sitting on the corner of my bed looking up into the ceiling in the corner of my room and i used to talk to a little girl named Emily. lights used to turn off and off by themself. we would randomly hear ppl runnning around the house upstairs form us when we were the only ones home.. it was a pretty freaky 8 years living there
  • I'll share next. I grew up for 16 years in my house. Starting at age 3, when I'd look out my doorway, I'd see a shadow standing in the next room and it everynight without fail seem to somehow(walk float i dont know how it moved its almost like it just faded in and out) make it to my door and stand there til either my mom came or I'd fall asleep. I one day got courage and went to check it out as it happened for 2 years. And I touched it and it felt really cold and then went "under a couch". I talked to my mom bout it whne I was 16. Years later and she said It always scared her as she had the same shadow watch her when she was young, and that she followed it as a kid and last time she seen it it went under a couch. Also foot steps to the point on the stairs where people would get up to greet people and no ones there. Voices saying my name, and other peoples names, and A complete stranger saying it was a kid's spirit and it wanted it's chest out of the house and hated my brother. She used my brothers name and She had no knowlege of him...Spooky no?
  • Yes it is. This is an old Victorian House, and I have a few spirits here. I dont mind, I am open to that, but there is one evil one, that surfaces every now and then. I am not afraid of anything but HIM..
  • Yes. I have never thought such a thing until the last few weeks. I kept hearing a kitten or cat cry inside the house, down the hall, but both of my cats were with me. Then my husband, who does not really believe in anything paranormal, said the strangest thing. He said, "I saw the cat who used to live here". When I asked him about it, he said that he felt something rub against his leg while sitting at the desk and he saw a slim white cat. Not one of ours. I had not previously told him about hearing the cat crying. So, haunted? Yes. By a little lost white cat ghost.
  • It's hard to say; my cats always act as if they're seeing someone or something that isn't there, but that could just be normal cat-insanity. I think possibly, it is.
  • Quite possibly - we frequently have the sound of footsteps through the house when there's nobody there. However we've lived here for 24 years and are quite accepting of it, although it does unnerve others when they experience it for the first time. Whoever this displaced soul is they seem to be happy to coexist with us.
  • Not really, I think I have brought whatever it is with me when I moved in. But my Aunty's house definately was, black smokey shadow behind the armchair in the Living Room with a kinda evil menancing aura to it.
  • Yes very. I have 3 in my house, a nasty violent ex-rapist, his wife and their child. They have made my life hell for a year now, they are nasty to other people too but never to my 5 year old daughter, as they think she is their child and so are trying to drive me away. We discovered this via a oujia board which investigators bought along with them plus other sorts of equipment. These ghosts are not particularly visual tho I have seen them, they are more auditory. The male one who says his name is Derek, thats when he can stop telling me to f***k off for long enough to tell us, is horrible. He wakes me in the middle of the night saying my name in my ear and that he is going to rape me. Once I had just gone to bed and I heard sounds of footsteps on the stairs outside my room, I froze with terror as I heard him say "we will have to do all 3 of em in", I really really thought there was someone there. In a burst of bravado I jumped out of bed armed with my baseball bat and ran onto the landing, only to hear them sniggering. But so long as my little girl isnt affected or hearing them I am staying put. My 19 yr old son can ignore them better than me!
  • Yes I think it is because very odd things are happening every time I turn around. One minute everything is clean and orderly out of no where things get moved back to where it was before I cleaned it up. The floors dirty themselves, the sink fills itself, the laundry piles itself, and even when the bathroom smells all by itself no one can seem to explain.??? The milk spills itself, the list goes on and on... Very strange! :P
  • The TV in my room occasionally has a weird face in it while it's off. It looks like a voodoo mask. One time he talked to me. I AM NOT LYING WHATSOEVER.
  • My new house, maybe getting there. My land is haunted though, so the local Mexicans say. I can walk around my property and hear someone walking behind me, I always see people out the corner of my eye. Others have also reported this me and I don't tell anyone about it happening to me. I have an old solid wood office chair with arms on it like a captain's chair, it is in my computer room. When it starts up it creeks like someone is just sitting down on it. This can continue for hours at a time, not just once. Sometimes I just say 'okay I hear you' and it may stop.
  • Nope, but I do believe some are.
  • yes it puts birds in there cage and locks the door in a matter of 20 sec. while my back is turned. it calls my store and sends me an email about it all while my phone line and pc are down it rearanges the thing on my porch.
  • I am haunted every where I go, the car, every house or apartment I have lived, outside, every church I go to. Things move, spirits talk, I love it I is so cool! And I say jesus what else can you do. He always helps me and I do things for him like write a little message on this message board. I love the holy spirit I would not want to be haunted by any other.
  • Nope. If it was, I wouldn't be too happy about that.
  • Not at all.
