Help answer this question below.
I like men who wears pantyhose and are not afraid to say it. It feels good to have my mans legs rub against mine when he is wearing his pantyhose. Go for it and be happy
Pantyhose are very uncomfortable to wear for me and Ausbabe is right, they are not designed for a male.
I wear Jobst light compression thigh high stockings almost daily to help with the pain in my legs. They work for me, I had to choose between them or taking pain pills all the time. I couldn’t imagine popping pills all the time.
I have been wearing them for years now, I am getting to the point were I don't care anymore what people think. Don't get me wrong, I don't wear them with shorts (lol) even though I have to say, I've been told I have nice legs ;-)
My wife has been very supportive and it is just the norm for us after all these years.
One thing I have to mention, If any guys out there are going to wear any type of hosiery out in the open, make sure to shave your legs, LOL, I seen a guy with them on who had seriously hairy legs and O'man, was that a bad.... sight :-)
Just my two cents....
God Bless...
The big question isn't what we think - it's what you think and if you have a partner, what your partner thinks. I guess that some men wear makeup to hide bad skin - fair enough too - if we women have the luxury of being able to improve our appearance with makeup, why not men, right?
Also, some women wear pantyhose to make themselves look better - they suck in tummy flab, they shape legs - well the right ones do. However, what about your genitals as wisely pointed out by eshroom, they're not terribly male organ friendly? Would they be able to cope being cooped up in stockings or are you thinking the suspender types so as to not interfere with the family jewels?
I think it's great when men wear pantyhose, it shows they have a lot of style, not to mention it's getting to become the latest fashion trend. So, ladies watch out!!! Also, in the winter it gets very cold and nippy, so it's a great way to keep warm, and they are not that expensive people. Trust me, I have enough. Men should wear them more often, but no need to shave legs.
If woman like wearing trousers or pants, what's wrong with men wearing tights or pantyhose? Is it a crime?
I cannot believe so many woman on here are such conformists and narrow-minded.
Are you all mentally scarred at the thought of man in a pair of pantyhose?
In reading the comments on here I can only surmise... If you found out your man was wearing a pair of pantyhose you would flea for the hills and ask for an instant divorce. Which leads me to believe you never truly loved the person in the first place.
It's only a pair of pantyhose for Pete sake!
I don't care at all if someone I don't have a relationship with is wearing them. I guess it would take some getting used to if I were dating a guy who wore them. That is something beyond my experience.
I am a man that loves wearing pantyhose and my wife supports it and even talked me into wearing them in public.
I am far from gay and am as manly as Larry the Cable guy, theres just something soothing about the smooth silky feeling covering my legs...From My experiance some women love it and some get used to it and some thinks your gay (but its ok for then to take our shirts and boxers and there not gay.
I would think you were crazy. Not because you're a man and you want to wear them, but because you think they feel good. They are the most uncomfortable things ever invented (ok maybe the most after very high heels with pointy toes).
I think they are torturous and avoid them when possible.
I used to date a "crossdresser", although that isn't the reason we broke up. I loved the look of clothing on him...pantyhose and all. For most men who crossdress, it isnt a fetish, but a need, usually picked up from a young age, for whatever reason.
It is ultimately up to you about wearing hose. It is how you feel in them. And how you feel about it. If you are in a relationship, does your signifigant other approve? Do they even know? Is it a subject that will find them running in the other direction?
If you arent in a relationship and just asking advice, well....there are some of us that quite like it. For you girls that say you dont think you can handle it, well you never do know do you? Trust me, my ex is quite a man. He isn't gay or weird. He has empathy and great respect for women....so much that he wants to emulate us. I find that VERY flattering.
I am totally cool with men wearing pantyhose. For those who never wear them before, try it. I think you will love the silk feeling on your skin. I agreed that you MUST shave your legs before putting them on. And quite frankly, pantyhose is just another piece of garment. What is the big deal if men wear them?
I have no problem with it. I believe that every men should wear them at least once in his life. Along with a thong and high heals. It widens your perspective and give you an insight to what women feel.
As a women with a man into this . I can say at first i was unsure . I gave it a full try . Turns out i love it i love the control i have over him with it . i love the way they feel when we both have them on . He now wears silky pantyhose 24/7 . they do actually fit a mans body pretty well. We did try the "mens Brands " actually found that womens brands fit and look much better .He works on wall street and everyday he has on suntan or taupe pantyhose under his suit . Sometimes i have him sleep in them along with a satin chemise . Its hot and has improved our relationship immensely. It also has put a stop to his flirting with other women . Since he would never want his secret out . legs silken mist fit him great wolfords are for special times
I really do not care what women think about a guy wearing pantyhose. I wear them to eliminate the pain in my legs from extremem vericose veins and poor blood circulation. I wear them all day long, to bed at night, under garments and with shorts on. I usually wear sheer silky support Leggs brand. I wear taupe with shorts, brown or black when wearing a suit. Always colour compatable. I do not wear white pantyhose. Pantyhose are very comfortable and my wife is comfortable with this. (My wife took me out in public one halloween fully dressed in drag, 5" heels, black shiny/sheer pantyhose, short tight micro mini skirt, blouse, bra, panties and a gold anklet. It was kind of exciting. I got a lot of attention i.e. where did you get those shoes? nice legs etc.
Oh, and for the women who hate the way hose feel. That's your personal preference and that's fine, but I'd bet that the reason is that all you've ever worn are the cheap $5 for 3 pairs, lucky to make it through a single wearing, disposable grocery store brands. That and/or you're still wearing the same size you wore when you were in high school and 25+ lbs lighter and refuse to admit that you aren't quite petite anymore. If this is you then no wonder you hate them. Maybe if you tried a quality pair of hose that fit correctly you'd like them a little better. I've tried several brands of cheap over-the-counter pantyhose that before I discovered quality hosiery that fit me (I'm 6'4"). Ladies, take it from a man, if the hose costs less then $5/pair, or come packaged for than one pair to a package, they probably suck. The pantyhose I buy cost $8/pair and if I'm careful I can get at least a dozen all-day wearings and washings out of them before they start to wear out.
All I know is that I wish that more women would wear hose. It seems to have fallen out of fashion, which is unfortunate in my opinion. Even a woman with perfect legs looks better in hose.
I'm a 28 year old woman, and I don't find anything wrong with men wearing pantyhose. If a man feels comfortable, confident and better about himself while wearing them, then he should have that right. It's just like me,I feel better about myself when I wear pantyhose to work, the grocery store and to church,(Catholic Faith).
I don't see any abnormality about it,just because they're designed mainly for women doesn't mean that guys cant enjoy the comfort of wearing them!
My girlfriend enjoys it when I wear my pantyhose with her. While lounging around the apartment, she likes to rub my leg and it recalls a pleasant memory of rubbing her mother's leg as a small child. While having sex, she likes my increased enthusiasm.
Mostly, she enjoys me wearing my pantyhose because she loves me and knows that it is something I enjoy. She is able to ignore the social disapproval and the ignorance of closed minded people.
All that really matters is that nobody is harmed, and she and I had discussed things fully and deeply beforehand.
As a 36yr old man who wears hose openly, I view it as any other piece of clothing. My wife and friends are completely fine with it. Although, there are some guidelines that men should go by. First, shave the legs!! How many women do you see wearing hose with hairy legs? Nasty. Second, stay in shape. Man or woman, it makes for a better look. Third, don't expect everyone to take to it. Some people hate change and thrive on resisting it. Have you ever seen someone wearing goth clothing or an overwieght, out of shape, woman wearing a 'Britney Spears' type of outfit. Those people must have been compfortible, but again, not everyone takes to it.
Stay true and honest.
I think it's great for anybody to wear what they want. I am a man who wears pantyhose, and have been doing so out in the open (with shorts) for almost 3 years now. It is a great breakthrough for my personal freedom and putting to rest some of those fears of being viewed as "different". My life has only changed for the better because of it.
Go for it and enjoy your freedom!
I find male transvestites kind of hot. So, I'm cool with it.
I don't care unless it happens to be the guy I'm dating. Then, it wouldn't sit well. Ilike really manly men and a guy in panty hose just wouldn't do it for me.
If they keep you warm, fine. If they make you horny, fine. I only am concerned about my man.
I am glad to see other men are wearing pantyhose. I am 43 and I wore them from time to time over the years, but just recently started wearing them regularly. They feel great, and I like the way I look in them. It isn't to please anyone but myself. I am heterosexual and have been all my life. Men's fashion is boring. It is up to us individual guys to decide what looks and feels right for us. Women's fashion covers a wide range of styles, but men's have been restricted for what seems like forever. For instance, back in the 70's and early 80's, boys and men could wear short shorts and it was the fashion, but since the late 80's when "jams" came into fashion, men apparently are ashamed to show any part of their legs above the knee!
It is oppressive and unfair. Just buck the trend, guys! If you can't find what you want to wear in what is offered for men, buy what you want to wear from the women's selections. It's what they did, so we can, too!
I'm a man and I sometimes wear pantyhose in public. I wear them with skirts and dresses. I often wear high heel shoes with them. I'm not even close to being gay, I just love to wear women's clothes. I don't care what other people thinks. If anybody don't like what I'm doing they don't have to look.
Today I'm wearing black 20 den stretchy pantyhose. They feel perfect.I'm a straight man in 30's.
My wife doesn't mind, she is starting to like it.
Well that's it.It's no big deal.
Best regards to all the wearers! :-)
My wife told me I should start wearing pantyhose, as I was in a really cold office at the time. It was strictly functional for her and I. Very reluctantly I agreed. The first time she saw me in her pantyhose, she fell in love with the look, it really turned her on. I too must admit that I fell in love with wearing pantyhose, for many reasons. I now wear them on a daily basis, and the "turn on effect" of them hasn't diminished a bit for my wife (2 years later).
i worked and partied in the restaurant industry for over 14 years. there were many cute girls my own age at the time that would trip over to my place after work or meet me at my cottage on lake erie for the off days with travel gear and uniforms in hand. pantyhose and/or soft textured tights packed away for the boy that loved to watch those long sexy legs all night long taking drinks from the service bar to the tables.
then it comes to pass over a night of drinks and friendship when the girls get a little saucy.
okay boys we have something that you have to try on. i remembered from my youth the soft stretchy feel encasing my entire body when i jumped at the chance, when one of the girls said, "i'll show you how to put them on!"
i was the first one to take the dare. my buddies laughed. inside, i didn't care. this was exciting and from my youth i remembered how it felt with no underwear.
stretching to every movement on my body it was arousing, why?
the cry in my mom's voice when see first caught me on my own, in my room.
i didn't care, i am almost a man and women that wore pantyhose really turned me on. i loved to be with women and get as close as i can get.
if it means wearing their pantyhose to get closer to them and feel that they are wrapped around me, i have to be there.
i am not a woman and don't want to be. there has to be a way to get close and have some fun.
heck, what else is life meant to be than have some fun and enjoy!
One look at the website ads for hoisery for men that pop up on the pages for your question suggests it's a huge private market, not for public appearances, and not just for erotica.
Remember Ed Wood, the movie director of B-movies (played by Johnny Depp in the film ED WOOD) -- he was very heterosexual and just liked the way some women's fashions felt and how they made him feel. There was an uproar in the states when women started to wear "men's pants," and like that crossover item, pantyhose/tights have been worn by men since at least mideavel times (called leggings.)
Just think it out logically:
this will be between you and your lover (not all women will react the same way) -- make sure you've determined that she loves her own legs in them, that she's a tactile and visually oriented person, and that you have an "out" explaination of she reacts poorly (but give her a minute to process it all; during an unrushed tryst would be the best time to show her.) And make sure you find out what secret sensation she'd like you to know about...
My husband wears pantyhose. He started wearing them at my request, since he was stuck in a cold office at work, and didn't want the bulky look of long underwear. He was resistive at first, but after a few weeks, the cold broke him down. I wasn't sure at first how I would feel about it, but I wanted him to be warm. As soon as he began wearing pantyhose, I realized I absolutely loved the way they looked on him! They hide any small imperfections, give a very smooth look, add the perfect amount of color, and seem to accentuate the lines of his muscles. Basically, I like the way they look on him, for the same reasons men like the way they look on women.
I say go for it!
I discovered that my husband enjoys wearing pantyhose...at first I was a little "weirded out". But we discussed it and now I do not have a problem with it. I have even purchased them for him. I respect him and I love him very much.
I'm a man who wears tights/pantyhose and they are the most comfortable things ever, if you buy the right ones, not the cheap garage/drug store rubbish. Get an idea of what you want them for i.e. sport/ comfort/ varicous veins, etc and then decide if you need to shave your legs (i'd advise this totally as they feel and look much better) and if you're going to then do it properly, shaving foam good razor, if it's not possible or it will look bad for you then go for a high denier pair, so you can't see your hairy legs through the tights. If you can then you could go for something a little less thick, like sheer tights or low denier support tights, I personally like both and wear higher denier ones (70/80) to play golf (as they keep me warm, but, just wearing them around the house I go for more sheer/shiny looking tights.
I am curious as to why some women feel like men are perv's or something is wrong with them coz they want to wear an item of clothing perceived to be female.
Do you (ladies) feel threatened by it? or possibly you don't want a man to look better than you?? What is it girls(who don't like men wearing tights)
Whatever floats your boat. Clothing choices these days are so gender ambivalent it seems natural to have a hosiery selection for men as well as women.
Why is it "odd", Miss Madge? Women can wear men's suits and it is fashionable. They can put on a man's shirt and even a pair of his underwear and call it "sexy". But if a man strays from the dull, boring, mundane fashions he has been limited to for the past century or so, it is "odd". Sorry, we're just not interested in what women expect anymore. We're not here for your pleasure and amusement.
Honestly? A little odd. But I don't like to judge others' fashions. Anyway, I find that anyone can pull of just about anything if they wear it with confidence.
I think that it's great as it did wonders for our sex life and we are going on 61 we both wear them during sex we take pictures in them great foreplay
For you men and women who think its wrong or freaky for men to wear hose - you'd better tell all those women that wear pants/jeans/etc to go to the shrink, or start 'dressing like women'. But of course, women 'can' do/wear whatever they want in this society, while men are held to different standards - have their cake and eat it too....
I'm a guy and I remember first putting on a pair of my mom's hose when I was about 3-5. I don't know why, but I did, and have liked them ever since. More recently, since I've moved to a place that gets cold in the winter, I enjoy them because they are a good first layer to keep warm yet are 'light' on the skin.
And guys, yeah, shave the legs if you're gonna wear hose! It looks horrible and nasty with hair all squished down under them.
Sad to say most women hates PH, and therby also hates men in them :-(
So sad, Could have been a lot of common pleasure :-)
Go ahead if you want. But I don't see the reason why you love the way they feel. They're scratchy. They don't breathe. And despite those facts, they aren't sturdy at all. You would have to have tough skin to wear pantyhose and like it. Your skin must be as coarse as linen.
I don’t know about other women but my wife now insists that I wear panty hose. It started a couple of years ago when she was complaining about hose, saying that they were uncomfortable and such. I made some flippant comment like “get over it”. Now I wear panty hose most every day and it amuses her a great deal.
I think women love pantyhose and wear in public to show off. They love the fact they can wear without underwear and feel the nylon against theit lady parts and more most be a total turn on!!! women have the sex power and know that men Love it Too !!!!
I know a guy that does... not the whole pantie hos, but tall socks that are the same material. I made fun of him a couple times when he wore them, but then i felt really bad. You should do what you want to do and not be judged. I personally hate the feel of them. My mom use to make me wear these thick leggings when i was young and it was too cold outside. They were kinda scratchy and itchy. I usually just go with out if im dresssed up. but if i have to wear them for something... such as something fun.. a woman has to get that mid thieghs with a garder belt= the best thing ever
Hey, if you have the right equipment, go for it, but underwear is a no no because want to keep that smashed together cock-n-ball clearly defined . Odor wize, why wear it at all, unless of course, you've got exceptionally hot legs you'd like to show off.
For the record I read every post before adding my 2 cents, I am impressed at the range of opinions on this subject.
I saw numerous mentions of people thinking there isn’t room for male parts in pantyhose, there is usually ample room. I don’t recall anyone suggesting crotch-less pantyhose or thigh highs which make way more sense for men.
The number of open minded women was more than I expected, but was even more surprised by the number of men who wear pantyhose for a variety of reasons. For the women who don’t want their man to wear hose, one common reasons posted is their guy would be less manly, I can respect that but also wondered is it ok for a man to dictate to their wife/GF they wear feminine clothing and makeup all the time, no pants, heels, skirts or dresses, etc to maintain the gender gap..
It seems there is a lot of social norm brainwashing going on around the world. Women have been slowly chipping away at mens fashion and other traditional male related stuff such as sports, mens only clubs, etc. When men find something enjoyable that has been associated with women is not socially acceptable from both genders.
In a previous relationship my GF loved putting me in drag privately, it turned both of us on and improved our sex life. She would frequently make me wear panties or pantyhose under my work slacks, I enjoyed they way they felt and she enjoyed the power over me knowing I would be too embarrassed to let anyone find out so that meant not using public urinals and being careful in the stall so as not to expose my secret. She liked caressing my stocking covered legs, having sex when we were both wearing stockings was great. I never wore her clothes or pantyhose, everything I wore was purchased for me with that intent which made it more enjoyable.
Social norms change, in the 1920’s women started smoking, women weren’t allowed to wear pants a hundred years ago, in the 80’s many men in rock bands wore eyeliner and lip-gloss and most were considered hot, in Scotland kilts were the norm for men for many centuries, men used to go to the barber and wouldn’t be caught dead in a salon but now there are few barbers and some men are getting pedicures and manicures.
While I don’t feel the desire to cress dress publicly I would like to see a shift towards more public acceptance of men shaving their legs, wearing pantyhose and maybe traditional female clothing lines redesigned for men offering men some soft and silky options without feeling like I am are wearing a traditional dress.
I'm a 57-year-old guy that's in excellent shape (good BMI, and great-looking legs) and I initially purchased men's tights with the idea of their being thermal underwear. I discovered that they provide great support and almost eliminate fatique when walking or standing for long periods of time. There is some extra room in front that provides a measure of comfortable fit. I wear them with shorts outside for walking, or when shopping, and I believe that people accept the look. I wear them with bikini briefs or a thong, not just by themselves. My wife thinks they're fine - she likes how I look in them. The overall feeling is more free than pants, and I think that black, sleek, muscular legs look better than hairy legs anyway.
Women are always shopping in mens departments and wearing mens clothing. Therefore I see no reason why straight men cannot wear womens clothing. I feel great in my stilletto high heels, pantyhose and short mini skirt. Girls, what do you think?
I have been wearing them for about thirty years! I am very happy to see this discussion being openly held on the Internet, because for many years I thought I was alone in liking to wear this article of clothing. I now often prefer medium compression (18-20 mg), and this is actually healthy for the legs, especially when flying in a plane for any length of time, because it helps prevent blood clots and swollen ankles. I have had a number of girlfriends who were fine with this, and would even give me gifts of pantyhose. A few others were not so enthusiastic. men can have attractive legs too and it is nice to be able to celebrate that as women do. Women have co-opted lots of men's clothes, including pants and ties, So why not accept men wearing pantyhose or even skirts?
I would love to have a partner parade around for me
all dressed up with pantyhose,a bra, highheels a nice top a short skirt with no underwear and me dressed
the same ,girls any takers?
Who cares what people think.Im a guy of 44yrs of age, with 2 kids, have a nice body and have shave my legs and other body areas, and NO im not gay at all,I love the feel of a woman and a womans body on mine and so on.I think that if women can wear mens clothes, why cant guys do the same ? If not, then you are sexist. Mens equal rights i say ! I have a couple of cute mini skirts and wear them with fishnets,so very cute.So live your life for you not others,i say " are they living THEIR life to make you happy"? You are only on this earth once,so live it !
Go for it guys. I am a guy and I LOVE to wear pantyhose. They help reduce leg fatigue for me. Control top support pantyhose are the best fit for me. When I need more support for my legs, I wear 2 or even 3 pantyhoses at one time.
Pantyhose should be part of every man's wardrobe.
I'm a male, very manly, straight and I enjoy wearing pantyhose. They are comfortable, feel fine, look good...so why not!?
After all, it's UNISEX attire definitely!
I'm a 32 year old married father of 2, former U.S. Marine, and someone who is quite comfortable with my masculinity, and I wear hose every day, including with shorts in public. I've been doing it for about 3 months now, and I guess I really don't care about what others think. I started wearing them for the support to promote circulation and reduce pain and swelling in my legs and ankles because I drive 11 hours a day for a living. I wear sheer hose because they are cool enough for summer wear and I actually like the way they feel. My wife was a bit skeptical at first but after I got my first pair she found that she really likes them on me and now understands why guys like women in hose (which I very much do). She also encouraged me to start shaving my legs, and I've found that it makes the hose look, fit and feel better, and I actually like my legs shaved. As far as it being "cross-dressing," my pantyhose are a brand called Comfilon (http://www.comfilon.com) and are made specifically for men (including accommodations for male anatomy). That said, men were wearing skin-tight legwear as a standard piece of clothing for almost 500 years before women started wearing them. Legwear for men didn't fall out of style until the mid-1800's or so, and when women started wearing them with skirts that showed more than the ankle, it was downright scandalous. Women have been borrowing men's fashions (hosiery, pants, t-shirts, and the latest trend toward "boyshorts", which are nothing more than feminised men's boxer-briefs) for hundreds of years and nobody calls them cross-dressers. But I will admit that even if I eventually stop needing the health benefits I would still wear hose because I like the way they look and feel. It's a matter of personal preference. If you don't like it, don't do it. But guys, if you do wear them (or want to), do so openly and with pride. Who knows, in a year or two it might catch on again after a brief 150 year fashion hiatus.

I love to wear pantyhose and would love to get into bed with you as long as you are wearing your pantyhose

I love to wear hose most of the time and agree with the comment about fit and comfort being dependent upon price. Regarding the man + woman + hose thing, I recently met a new woman who's last partner was a real "Mr Vanilla". The first time we made love with me wearing hose she said "Mmmm, thatt feels nice", but then, when we made love with BOTH of us wearing hose, her reaction was "Oh God! That is sooooo f***ing HORNY! Oh, wow!" If you haven't tried it, all I can say is......why?

I wear tights and pantyhose in fall and winter for last 30 years.
And I want to let you know that I work for the greatest company in the world if you like pantyhose. Our policy is that man must wear pantyhose with shorts at work (if they wear shorts to work), same applies to girls. 99% people who works there wears long pants. But ladies wear pantyhose. Company name is Smiths Medical in Southington CT. I am pantyhose wearer and like the llok and feel.
Thanks.

It's so nice to hear from a lady who actually likes and encourages her man to wear pantyhose! Wish more women would think like you do, most of them are really conservative and freak out and go through the roof when they hear about a man who likes to wear pantyhose..!

There are many men that wear pantyhose and tights . Myself i see it more and more if you really pay attention you will see that the guys that just go about their every day lives, travel, hike, bike ect are normal every day people who enjoy the comfort and warmth of hoisery . I say go for it and dont worry what others think, they are a unisex garment.
