My cat is in heat and seems uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do for her?

    Not really...a tranquilizer won't help much either except make her lazy. You can get your female spayed, or your male neutered. Don't let your cat's caterwauling disturb you, it's the female's natural mating call when in heat. Their bodies go into overdrive as well that's why she's probably twisting on the floor and tear assing around the house. Keep her away from Toms, and dont let her outside. Cats are natural sexual predators and will rape a feline.

    The best thing is to take her to a vet. The vet can prescribe thanqualizess. then have the cat neutered so she will not go into heat again. after the cat will be more comfortable and mellow and loveing.
