I am more bothered when they change their user name than their avatar.
-
i agree with wendoraUSNY. It'd be much worse if they change their avatar and nick.
-
No it doesnt bother me. But it bother's me when a certain user (I won't mention his username) chucks a sulk and complains about my avatar. However, when I have known a certain user by their nickname the change of nickname does bother me more than change of avatar.
-
No because I go by names
-
Don't worry..........I'll never change my socks. <whew>
-
I don't mind different Avatars, but changing names can confuse one.
-
I think I know why you asked this one, Little Miss Changalot.
-
No, as long as they keep the same username.
-
No I'm more interested in their questions/answers.
-
Not much bothers me in life. When it does, >shiver<..that's another question....
-
To some extent YES! that's why I want to be original....
-
yes.. it does - but we have to get used to it.
-
You don't like him? I had a few people recently did not know what he was I can change him back?
-
Very difficult to corelate to.
-
No, because it is their choice. There is always a hint of who they are. A users personality is often reflected in their usage. Sometimes if I am at doubt I just look at their user history and see if I recognise some of their a/q's. People reinvent themselves for a variety of reasons in real life and on the internet. (what about people on witness protection schemes, maybe these users are avoiding a stalker). Some people just like to go incognito for a little while. I prefer it if they just change their avatar/username than to when people leave and come back like a phoenix from the ashes (only more sinister) by opening a new account and starting the mayhem all over again.
-
No. I recognize ABers more by their names.
-
No, I have a hard time seeing the avatars anyway. I do have a problem telling who some of them are when they change there names though.
-
not at all, i change mine periodically. now if they change there name and avatar then that would be difficult to recognize without talking to them and finding out who it is.
-
Meh, not really...... I actually answered this question just to say this: Ducks vs Wings series. I'm going to need your E-Mail address to talk some shit during this series. =P
-
I think it is their choice, if they prefer to change. As long as they don't also change their user name too much, it is usually easy to keep track of them. For me, it is more difficult to keep track of users who change their user name in a way that they are not recognizable. If many users would do this all the time, it would be difficult to keep track of anyone. However, most users have stable user names or avatar images. I am one of them.
-
It did for a while. But I got used to ignoring the names and avatars until I'm brought back to the question or answer. I just pay more attention to the questions than who asked them. Besides, if they're not new, until you GO to the question, you don't know who asked it, right? You ONLY know the last person who answered. So, why pay THAT much attention? Makes for more real questioning, answering, and rating, I think. Of course, I'm always happy to see my friends have asked the questions, have answered mine, or have commented my answers. They are one of the best things about AB.
-
No, it doesn't bother me, but it makes it more confusing I should admit. LOL
-
No, not at all!
-
No, I think it is cool, Nunya is constantly changing her's & I always look forward to seeing her new ones!
-

-
No it doesn't ... It makes it kind of fun...
-
I just reconise them by their username, which isn't as fun or easy.
-
No
