I purchased a dress from Teen Pix located at 2228 West Jericho Tpke,Syosset NY 11791.The dress needed alterations. The amount for the alterations was $179.00.They refused my credit card or my check stating all alteration fees must be paid in cash.Teen Pix is a specialty store. All the special order dresses need some kind of alterations. When I asked why they were charging so much for the alterations they said this amount was the minimum charge.Their seamstress is of Hispanic decent.Due to a problem with the alterations I had to bring a suit againts the store.Under oath the owner of the establishment stated she pays her seamstree 20.00 an hour. The agreement for the suit was based on this.Is the seamstress paying her rightful share of taxes? Is she here legally?Or are we as tax payers being again taken advantage of.Is the owner of the store reporting all her cash intake and paying taxes on that.I believe this store should be audited. They should have to pay their fair share of taxes like all legitamate businesses

You know I didn't know we were in Nazi Germany! Why do you want to go run to the government and snitch on someone you suspect of something! It is none of your business what someone does as long as they are not physically harming you. Stay out of it and be a better person...that is of course if you don't wear a brown shirt with a red arm band with a swastica on it raising you fist in the air saying "Zeg Hial!"

Contact your local internal revenue service. if there is not one near you, there is an 800 number in the phone book.

A criminal investigator will take your information and send you some forms to complete. you will need to list all the pertinent information and mail it back. you will be contacted for further information.

If the investigation reveils definite fraud and a case can be made, the internal revenue will make you an offer. do not waste their time if you are not willing to testify in court.

Do a search on 'reporting tax evasion" for specific reporting entities.

There is a whistleblower law for federal tax evasion, with a 30% reward to the 'reporter' for amounts collected, however, the owing entity (cheater) has to make an annual income of at least $200k and owe upwards of $2 million in past taxes, fees and such.

What about a deadbeat "father" who owes child support and I know is running his own business under the table? I know that custodial parents who are supposed to receive child support, get the non-custodial, child support owing person's stimulus check. Well, obviously if I don't get his check, then that means he did not claim his income. I want this taken care of. I would consider this a legit report to the irs.

Kevin Lynch at Jet Funn, Fox Lake Illinois does not report everything either. He also has all his employees on payroll making cash with no taxes being taken out or paid for them.. This is a little lesson in the man trying to keep the man down, cut corners, do not pay taxes, abuse our system. Way to go Kevski - I am sure Karma will win in the end!!! I am not a big fan of government personally, but I do see why it does help in some situations. My wife has not been able to claim any income for the last 7 summers, and therefor not gotten a tax return on that money, now that the economy is in a downturn, schools are losing out because they do not have enough money coming in from taxes because people like Kevin Lynch at Jet Funn, Fox Lake, IL are out there!!!

Donna Vis steals cash from Dutchman Doors, Inc. at 770 Stonebridge Dr., Tracy, CA. 209 833-7378 All her employees know this as well. She puts all cash proceeds in her purse and leaves the office with no money to buy supplies. sometimes the water and phones get cut off because she doesn't pay. She doesn't report income to IRS. She needs to be audited. She took over $7,000 last week. And the sales reps don't get the commission because she says that the sales are soft and they didn't qualify.
