It means that they are trying to fool & manipulate you. They are an abusive person bar none & the I love you at the end of an abusive evening is merely a trick to see if you will fall for it & put up with them anyway! Don't buy it! If you buy that I've got some ocean front property in Arizona that I'll sell ya!

classic abuser behavior. They verbally abuse or physically abuse and then think that an "I love you" makes things better or an "I will never do it again" makes it better. It's abuse..plain and simple. Verbal abuse will usually end up being physical. You do not have to take that. Get out while you can. Abuse is not love.
