You need to distinguish between the situation and your own mental / emotional state first, because these need to be addressed in different ways.
As far as the situation is concerned, it's important to communicate clearly with those who are expecting work from you -- to let them know what they can actually expect given your situation. As long as you're doing a good job of setting other's expectations, and trying to do a good job at your work, that's about as much as you can do.
On the psychological side, the way to get your stress level down is to learn to be aware of it without getting "tangled up" in it. Stress is basically recurring / automated thoughts, associated with body reactions (adrenaline, tightening muscles, feelings of agitation, etc.) To be aware of these things is to bring yourself back in touch with here-and-now: to allow your psychophysical reaction to take place without interference, and without getting caught up in it.
This takes practice, the best practice is daily meditation. It also helps to do a good job taking breaks -- meaning, reduce the amount of input on a break -- get up, walk outside or find a nice quiet spot, and relax. Regular exercise is also helpful.

I would remind the reps that constant interruptons will put me farther behind. Tell them you are doing a thorogh job for them, because you know how much they depend on high quality work. Then, take a deep breath and open the next job. You are good at what you do.
I have the same problem! I seprate everything into two piles (important and not so important) I then do all the important stuff, find someone to pawn off the rest to and then I come on answerbag for a little while, take a long lunch, walk around the office with a clip board seeing what others are up to and let my voicemail take care of the calls and return the calls when I feel I'm good and ready to! Once I get home, I get into my pj's pour a glass of wine and unwind with some fairly loud music.
Take beta blockers, they will calm me down.
Could you ask for some help?
In the short term, remember you are only human, and only behind with your work, not dying.
Go for a walk, take some deep breaths, don't skip lunch and don't drink too much coffee.
Demand you have an Assistant or you will take your sweet ass to the enemy's side that pays more.
First, if you are feeling overwhelmed, take a quick 5 minute breather. Do a breathing excercise or two if you know any, or day dream for a minute. Then when you feel a little calmer, make a priority system. Either make folders (I like folders because they keep the actual papers hidden and I feel like I can concentrate on the thing I am doing, more) or piles of papers that need to be done in order of importance. If you don't know what order they should go in, its okay to ask for priority, and when it should be done by. Once you have done that, start on the most important first. When the reps call, explain (calmly) that you are working on the situation and will be caught up as soon as possible. If it gets to a point where you feel that they are harassing you, tell a supervisor. The more they call, the less time you have to do your work. And I think, most importantly, don't forget to eat, or keep blood sugar up. Even if you are not a diabetic, blood sugar can make a person feel very overwhelmed. Suck on some candy while working (if your company allows some eating). If all that doesn't help, take the stack of paperwork and shove it straight up those rep's A*&#s. :)
Take a walk and then come back to cont the work gradually
Do the work and tell customer service that I am on it.
walk out!
I have done that a few times! (probably not possible in your case though)
so, I would take the phone off the hook, and finish the important stuff.
then try to be more organised for the next time!
there are two, make that three things. one, as kwwadg said have the cust ser reps to back off for a while. two, as perfectly pink said, two piles, now and can wait. three, keep a bottle of Glenlivet. in your desk drawer and reward yourself for a job well done.
Lately I've been going outside for a walk. Fresh air and sunshine help my attitude.
Hit the DND (do not disturb) button on my phone and let calls to go voicemail.
I'd get a job in a library or a bed and couch store
