  • maybe.......i always thought unicorns existed just because of the narwhal......it's the whale with one long horn.
  • Mmm, I think people just did not know what they wre seeing and saw things half-painted in by their imaginations. Imagine seeing a narwhale for the first time. What on earth would you think it was? Or how about a giant squid? I'd see a Kraken if did not know any better. What about a large lizard? If you were panicked you would see dragon. I've mistaken seals for humans at a distance. Especially with their big soulful eyes and the way they just sadly look at you.
  • "I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now? Reality leaves a lot to the imagination." -John Lennon I'm with you John Lennon. :)
  • I watched a Discovery Channel segment on Dragons once. It's plausible.
  • I saw a documentary on dragons, where they addressed our ancestors discovering dinosaur bones and seeing dinosaur footprints fossilized. They also had villagers in China take them to the dragon bones. Analysis showed the bones to be those of a dinosaur. So, yes, I think the creatures often considered to be mythical may have existed, especially dragons. Our science recognizes some of them, even if we have changed the name by which we reference the creatures.
  • If mythical creatures did exist, our scientists wouldn't find them because, well they're mythical. Besides, if its in our imaginations, what doesn't exist?
  • I guess it's possible. They could have existed millions of years ago and there remains or bones may not have survive that long. Or maybe they existed on place that was buried under volcanic rocks. Or maybe a they existed on a part that was engulfed under water. I guess we won't know until we see one or find its remains.
  • They definitely could have. I think we'll probably never know. I dont see why there could have never been a horse with a single horn poking from its noggin, Or even a giant flying lizard. although I do think the firey breath is pushing it.
  • I think they exhisted in peoples dreams or imaginations but not in the real world. Pity I would love to think the unicorn exhisted
  • Yes. Everyone everywhere across the world had dragon legends. These people never could have met. besides, nobody used to belive that the world was round, or that there was giant squids, or in the duckbill platipus. Makes ya wonder...
  • I do... sort oif think such creature's might have existed. For example with the Unicorn, the Horn may not have been made of bone's. Maybe it started rotting after the creature died. And bugs also eat Bone's sometime. So why not Horn's? But even then, the scientist's would see something broke on the head, by some lasting pieces. And the Dragon... Well, Bird wings do not have Bone's (or maybe they do, but really thin one's then). The same thing may be with Dragon's. Maybe some small lizard's from the ancient time's may have been one. And the Kappa..? No. I don't believe there's some Frog/Bird/Turtle Hybrid in the Japanese river(s), even though i'd love to see one. - Xocchi
  • Most myths have some basis in reality.
  • It is very possible that the bones of these creatures have not been found.
  • I believe that they existed and that they still exist today. I just love thinking that there is more out there than we know. ♥
  • If one would look at the history from all the cultures that either have existed or currently exist, they all have dragons as part of their culture. The intreaging part of this is all mythological dragons as created by hundreds of peoples that believed their world was the only ones on this planet, looked virtually the same. How could the artists of that time draw something as unique as dragons if they didn't exist at one point in history? I believe that the dragon existed along with the dinasours and in fact actually survived for a period along with man. Where they went is still a mystry but I would hope that they are still here with us somewhere either in this dimension or another!
  • yer i think tht thay all exsiste
  • They did not exist. However, the creatures they were exaggerated from did exist.
  • Unicorns are the only ones are the only ones that I could imagined ever "existed." There is a little evidence that says that a creature called Elasmotherium (basically, a giant, hairy rhinoceros) survived into historical times. There is the record written by Ahmad ibn Fadlan describing the same creature, and I could see how it could be confused as being a horse with a horn
  • Yes because, believe it or not, we have no proof they don't. They might not exist now but we have no records to prove they didn't over 10,000 years ago. There could be Aliens, dragons, unicorns even the loch ness monster under our very noses. we just don't have proof that such miracles exist. And if it did scientists would be thrown of their feet and we would have more knowledge as to how much science CAN PROOVE.
  • i guess i believe in most stuff exept vampires warwolfs bloody mary and all those dumb myths which r obviosly fake but i do believe in stuff wich people will call u crazy for like aliens and dragons and unicorns and giant sea monsters by the way look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTKzrVv7I_o the first 30 secs r pointless but watch closly and look
