Why does Obama constantly say the stimulus package will help the ones that are being foreclosed when it won't do anything for those that are out of work and no longer making payments now?

Because politicians, no matter their party affliation, are always willing to say whatever it takes to ease the general publics fears. Take Obama and Hilary saying during the election that they'll take a tough stance with China concerning their keeping of their monetary unit rated low compared to the US dollar so their goods will be cheaper for us to buy. Now they're kissing the countrys butt trying to get them to help finance the bailout. They say what they want to get people to back them. All politicians are guilty of this. Don't ask me if GW or his VP ever did this because it would take too many pages and too much time to type it all out for you. Given time, there will be more to add to Obamas files also concerning this matter. :-)
