I gave the test just once for my light motor vehicle (car) and motor cycle driving licences in 1970. I passed and got the licences. I have been renewing them every five years since then. I continue to pass the renewal tests too.
-
I took my test and passed first time, back in 1974. With the addition of my military license, I'm able to drive any (non-air brake) military vehicle up to and including a deuce and a half (2 1/2 ton troop transport). Hope this helps.

1 and done on both my written and road test. Passed the first time on both of them
-
First try the first time. Then when my parents moved to Maine, I had to re-test because I was under 18. Failed that one even though I already had a valid license from another state. The examiner explained to me when I whined, "I always flunk the kids the first time." I hold a Class one license HAZMAT certified. I drove over the road long haul for 17 years.
-
One attempt for each. I am allowed to drive a. Automobile/combin (max. 11,000 kg); b. towed vehicle (max. 4600 kg); and c. motorcycle.
-
I took me three tries to get my license to kill but it's been suspended for KWI (killing while inebriated):)
-
First time... Good thing cause I know I couldn't park that darn car again!

One time !! I have not thought about that for a while :)
-
Aced the test the first time.
-
I passed my written and drivers test both the first time. I an licensed to drive for only class C, and my Mustang ain't lonely :D
-
I passed the written easily the first time. I know I was a little nervous, and it took 3 times to pass the driving test. But, the first time it was due to "lane control" (and he had me drive through a subdivision where almost everyone was parked in the street...so I had to drive down the center of the road!), and the second time was due to a "rolling stop" (guess I didn't wait 1 more second to be considered a full stop?). Nothing major...that was almost 30 years ago. Not so bad as when a friend of mine was doing the parallel parking part of the driving test. The spot was on the edge of the paved parking lot. One tire went off the pavement, and, as it had recently rained, it went into mud. They had to get a tow truck to pull her out! She was so embarrassed! My 3 attempts were nothing next to that!
-
The written part I passed the first time but the driving part took a couple tries before I got everything right. I've also worked at alot of factorirs and have a license to work a forklift among other factory equipment.
-
I passed the first time. I don't have a license to drive anything else. But I'm sure I can figure it out if the need ever arrises to drive something diffrent
-
It only took me one try, for both my permit and license That was the best day.. Freedom!! :P
-
