well, it is not. Pub owner could put CCTV's. However If he is putting any of the images taken from those CCTV's with customers, those customers can easily sue him for violation of their privacy.

Yes it does. He has no responsibility to have these cameras there on his property...however if the police put up cameras on posts outside his pub and its property that is allowed.

Yes it does. It also threaten's the landlord's liberties - it is his name on the license, and therefore his responsibility to decide whether or not to install cameras. If the police wish to install cameras to observe customers entering and exiting, they should wait outside with a camera.

You might as well get use to cameras everywhere. Its becoming an international piece of security for not just the pub customers, but also people on the streets. Without a doubt, worldwide, crime is on the increase and the "eye in the sky" is a valuable tool for the police as well as a feeling of comfort for most business customers. After all, if you do not like this parcticular pub, there are plenty of others to visit.
