Why do people endlessly complain about politicians being liars? We ALL lie...you're not so innocent.

Because we put a lot of trust in them and their lies affect way more people in much worse ways than those of you or I. I think a better question would be "why don't you just expect politicians to lie?" that way you can be pleasently suprised if they tell the truth. lol

Because when normal people lie, we get out of a day of work, a night of homework, we don't hurt someone's feelings. When politicians lie, they endanger our country, the lives of soldiers, the economy, and trillions of dollars, millions of which they seemingly pocket for themselves. I'm also taking CEO's of corporations too.

It takes attention away from the private sector. People in suits playing around with each other's money, they lie professionally.

Yes, but I didn't ask people to elect me to lead the country. Politicians should, in theory, be good examples for everyone else.

Because they are(or used to be) given a certain level of trust and most abuse it. I'm more than willing to be as honest as I can and accept the lumps that go with it. How many politicians can honestly say the same thing?

Why because politicians are the biggest most deceitful people standing! That being the case it's to be expected that the public would want to complain about all of them, and whether the public are liars or not has nothing to do with it!

Its the importance. Why would we want people running our GOVERNMENT lying?

When politicians lie they hurt a lot of people and not just a few. Lies are different. I could lie and nothing come of it. the president or politicians lie and we could have war or be destroyed by another country. Remember, America is no longer a strong nation with respect. the rest of the world now looks at us as a joke and a place to send all their poor people .
