  • No. They shouldn't be in the schools.
  • no, especially in places of business! I've had a few come into places I have worked and try to recruit me. Once when I declined the recruiter asked me why and I told him I do not believe peace can be attained through war..then he got religious on me and I told him I didn't believe in god..then he wanted to argue politics with me and I showed him a different perspective, then he got angry and defensive and used the whole "well if you don't like it here why don't you move somewhere else" line and I replied that I didn't need to because I am a free american and I am free to think, believe and live how I want...just because I am not religious or support a war does not mean I don't love my country! He finally stormed out angry. I think a lot of times these guys use coercion and persuasion to try to shame or trick young males with no life goals into signing up...I'm 34 but he mistook me for a 20 yr old and after speaking with me I hope he learned not to judge books by their covers.
  • No,they should be restricted to locations, should not be allowed in schools or universities, shopping centres ,and other public places. They often tell lies about what it is really like in the military and the risks that they take when joining. They make it sound like an adventurous holiday, and impressionable minds believe them.
  • I don't see why not. If someone's not interested they should leave them alone though.
  • the only places i think they should be in is government funded areas, like schools for instance. if its non public definitlty not. possibly a mall if they have permission
  • y not???... we want thm to 'gaurd' uz n our country for OUR safety... thn wht-the-hel iz abt restrictin thm???... peace!!!
  • absolutely.
  • i don't like them going in to high schools where parents are not there to guide or intervene. a recruiter came to our kids school and asked for my son's name address and phone number. a couple months later the recruiter came back to the school and asked about my son and was told by other students that he was home sick that day. the recruiter came to our house and took our son to the library where he showed him a recruiting film. i walked in and saw my son there ( he had a 102* temp) and about ripped the recruiters head off. i told him he was not to try to contact my son again as long as he was under age. i should have pressed charges...
  • I don't see why not, it's no different than placing any other business in some random place. There is always the response, "No thanks".
  • If they are allowed on the property, I don't see why not. Not that I agree with it.
