If it's a heated topic (war, abortion, discrimination) of course you can. You just look at their comments. Although I don't put much faith into ratings anyway.

I usualy have some idea who rated me up when I see some glaringly big number like a 5 or a 6, but otherwise I don't have a clue.

I know a few people who do it. Sometimes I just have suspicions, so I ask them if they down-rated me or not. (Yes, that works sometimes.) Most of the time I don't know who it is though.

Who cares? Just move on and write good questions or answers. People will always be giving us all negative or positive points. To try and hunt them down is a waste of time IMO.
